Earlier today we spotted the new Little Mermaid Cupcake flippin’ her fin at Old Key West Resort and now we’ve spotted ANOTHER ONE!
Check out the new Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake that Disney’s just conjured up — and where you can get it!
Yen Sid’s beard! The Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake is one totally tasty-looking new treat! Inspired by The Sorcerer’s Apprentice segment of Disney’s 1940 Fantasia, the cupcake features the red colors of Mickey’s flowing robe and of course, his blue sorcerer hat — or should we say Yen Sid’s?
We can tell there’s definitely some mousse stuff happening on top of the Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake! A mousse-y Mickey Mouse dessert? YUM!
As we sliced into the Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake, our predictions were confirmed! A dome of chocolate mousse was set atop the soft and rich chocolate cake with — what sorcery is this… blue marshmallow buttercream!
We didn’t really get the notes of marshmallow, but the icing was EXTRA sweet — maybe a little too sweet for us. The chocolate mousse was totally stellar — wonderfully rich and refreshingly cold! And we liked the added touch of magic, a.k.a. edible glitter which shimmered in the sunshine! We took ours outside to see his broom buddies — which is why his little chocolate ears were sweatin’ in the Floria heat!
Check out the new Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake for yourself for $5.49 at the World Premiere Food Court in Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort!
