REVIEW: This EPCOT Restaurant Proves That Simple Best

If you are looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat in EPCOT, we constantly recommend Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavilion.

While it is rare for us to leave this quick-service spot unhappy, we always like to check back in with our favorite spots as sometimes the quality of food changes around Disney World. We recently took a trip here to see if Yorkshire County Fish Shop still has the magic touch! Here is what we thought!

Simple is the best way to describe dining here. The menu is short and sweet, and seating is outside with a beautiful view of the World Showcase Lagoon. On busy days, you can expect to see a line here, but don’t fear; you can plan ahead and utilize Mobile Order to avoid waiting!

The Menu

As we said, the menu does not have that many options, as the only entree is the Beer-battered Fish and Chips.

Eats

Of course, when we went back to review this gem of EPCOT, we ordered the Beer-battered Fish and Chips for $13.49 and paired it with the Harp Lager Draft for $12.25.

After dealing with the crowds and trying to find a table, we are happy to report that Yorkshire County Fish Shop is still a solid place to eat. The fish is not too fishy; it is nice and light on the inside, and it does not leave a film in your mouth. The beer-battering is fantastic, and our favorite part is the crunch! But don’t worry, if you don’t like beer, you really can’t tell as it has almost a sweet aftertaste. This is also easy to share. When we tried it, we had a tough time finishing it by ourselves!

It comes with a side of chips, or, as we Americans say, french fries. These are not the usual fries you will find at most Disney World dining locations, as they are much thicker. 

If you are looking for more flavor, this dish comes with two sides of Ken’s Tartar Sauce. If you are looking for more condiments, you can also get lemon juice, malt vinegar, ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, and pepper.

Overall the Beer-battered Fish and Chips is a great value and is delicious! Now it’s time for some beer!

As we mentioned before, we opted for the Harp Lager, but you can also get the Bombardier Amber. This beer has a really light taste and is not super hoppy, which we liked. It is a great drink to sip on as you walk around the World Showcase.

Overall

Now, while we do love eating here, we will say it is not super unique. So, if you are looking for an authentic dish to try in the UK and want more of a grab-and-go meal, then by all means, Yorkshire County Fish Shop is an excellent option! On the other hand, if you are looking for a menu with more options, you may want to check out another dining location in the World Showcase. For us, when we want a quick bite to eat, we still think that Yorkshire County Fish Shop is a great place to go and still deserves the hype.
