Tickets are on sale now for Halloween Horror Nights 2021 at Universal Studios Florida. The event will be held for 42 select nights beginning on September 3 through October 31.
The event will feature 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and live shows in 2021. We received an announcement for the event’s first house, Beetlejuice, back in March. Today, Universal Orlando is telling us that “Jack is Back.”
Currently, Single-Night Tickets are the only ticket option, however Unmasking the Horror Tours, RIP Tours, and Express Passes can also be purchased at this time. Other passes, like Frequent Fear, are not currently available, but the official website says to “Check back for additional ticket products.” Select Vacation Packages are also available.
Single-Night Tickets are available at an online discounted rate, starting at $70.99, and go as high as $99.99, depending on the day. Front gate pricing will start at $122.99.
You can see the event calendar below. The website warns that select nights may sell out. You can purchase tickets online here or learn more information here. Express Passes are also available for the event at this link.
Halloween Horror Nights was cancelled in 2020 due to safety concerns during the pandemic, but a few of the haunted houses did open to guests of the park during the day as part of a limited Halloween event. The Beetlejuice house also opened briefly for only a single weekend.
Guests that had tickets for last year’s event, and have not requested a refund, can use their tickets towards this year’s event. An email should have been sent to all guests with prior tickets, or click here for more details.
To celebrate the return of Jack, a new exclusive T-Shirt with the words “I’m Back” can now be purchased for a limited time. Starting today, you can find it at the Five & Dime shop at Universal Studios Florida, (between Horror Make-Up Show and The Bourne Stuntacular,) or online here. More preview merchandise may be added later as well.
Jack the Clown has been one of the most prominent icons for Halloween Horror Nights. This is the first official confirmation that the crowd favorite character will be a part of this year’s event. While Universal says he will be in the haunted houses, no further details were given for new houses this year.

According to Universal:
“The most notorious icon in event history, Jack’s return to Halloween Horror Nights 2021 will be fraught with terror and fear as the grisly circus clown invades every corner of this year’s event with unsuspecting “Jack Attacks” that will send guests running for their lives. His ominous and unrelenting presence will infiltrate every aspect of the event – from the streets, to the haunted houses to the places guests would least expect – leaving nowhere to turn and nowhere to hide.”
You can learn more about Jack, and his history at Halloween Horror Nights in an official blog post from Universal Orlando.
The event will be celebrating 30 years of fear in 2021 (as they are not counting 2020). Stay tuned for more details about Halloween Horror Nights 2021 as they are revealed in the months ahead.
