A NEW holiday party is kicking off in Disney World in just a few weeks!
Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is brand-new this year and features exclusive parties, rare characters, and LOTS of treats and snacks. But one of the biggest advantages of going to these exclusive Disney events is that you can get on popular rides with little to no wait! Here’s what you need to know about getting on the most popular ride in Hollywood Studios during Jollywood Nights.
Star War: Rise of the Resistance has been super popular ever since it opened in 2019. For a long time, the ride utilized a virtual queue rather than a standby line. Now, it usually has a standby line (along with the option to purchase a Lightning Lane pass if you want to skip that line). However, that virtual queue is returning for Jollywood Nights!
During Jollywood Nights, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be accessible ONLY through the virtual queue.
Disney announced that “guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on the day of the event. A standby queue for this attraction will not be available during the event. Each Guest can request to enter this virtual queue no more than once per event.”
If you have a ticket for the party, you can enter the virtual queue on the My Disney Experience app starting at 8PM. Only party guests are able to join this queue — guests without a Jollywood Nights ticket do not have access to the 8PM virtual queue. So make sure your Jollywood Nights ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account before the day of the party!
You do NOT have to be inside Hollywood Studios to request to join the queue when it becomes available. Just hop on the app wherever you are and request to join.
Rise of the Resistance is of course not the only ride that will be open during Jollywood Nights! Disney has also confirmed that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Slinky Dog Dash, and Tower of Terror will be available. The list ends with “and more!”, so we’re expecting that several other rides will be open as well (Disney just hasn’t released the full list yet).
We’ll be bringing you ALL the coverage of Jollywood Nights when it first debuts on November 11th, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates!
