The two hotels being built near Universal Epic Universe, Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, have been officially announced. These two hotels will feature 750 guest rooms each, and are both in the resort’s Prime Value category.
Guests can now book rooms for both of these hotels, with Universal Stella Nova Resort opening January 21, 2025 and Universal Terra Luna Resort opening on February 25, 2025.
An opening date for the Epic Universe theme park itself has not yet been revealed, but free transportation to the existing parks and CityWalk will be provided for guests staying at these new resorts.
You may recognize the concept art renderings for these hotels, as they were shared early, (presumably accidentally,) on the official Loews Hotels website. It appears that all of the details and images on the early version of the web pages were correct. We wrote about that when it was discovered last month.
Universal says “Universal Stella Nova Resort is inspired by distant galaxies, new stars and mysterious black holes, while Universal Terra Luna Resort is inspired by the massive and diverse planetary elements of the universe.”
The rooms at Universal Stella Nova Resort feature two queen beds, and are available in either standard view or pool view. Stays start at $134 per night, depending on length of stay or time of year.
“With sleek curves and subtle colors, inspire thoughts of sailing through the galaxies. Rich in blues and purples and tasteful flooring, this 315-square-foot room sleeps up to four.”
“Universal Stella Nova Resort has on-site food and beverage outlets, including a three-meal restaurant, lobby bar, coffee outlet with grab-n-go items, and a pool bar and grill.”
“Resort-style pool – 10,000 sq. ft pool, hot tub, kids’ splash pad area, walk-up bar, walk-up food service area, lounge, tabletop seating areas, outdoor games, outdoor firepit with surrounding seating, and poolside movies.”
Universal says “Universal Terra Luna Resort represents another world in Universal Orlando Resort accommodations. Inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown, pushing the limits of discovery and stepping into new landscapes.”
The rooms at Universal Terra Luna Resort feature two queen beds, and are available in either standard view or pool view. Stays start at $134 per night, depending on length of stay or time of year.
“Terrestrial tones, sweeping curves and a spaceship-styled window come together to create an inspiring launchpad for your Universal adventure. A flat panel TV and mini refrigerator make this your landing zone to relax and recharge.”
“Terra Luna Resort is much more than your launchpad into amazing adventures at the parks of Universal Orlando; it’s also your landing zone for relaxation and recharging between the fun.”
“Resort-style pool – The zero-entry pool features pop-up jets, a massive hot tub, poolside movies, and more.”
The official listings for both Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort remind us that they will be located adjacent to the future site of the new Universal Epic Universe theme park, but that the park will be opening at a later date in 2025.
Universal Orlando’s current theme parks and Universal CityWalk will be accessible from the new hotels via complimentary shuttles. Early park entry is valid for guests staying at these new resorts.
No details have been revealed for the 500-room hotel being built at the back of Epic Universe, expected to be named Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
You can start booking your rooms at Universal Stella Nova Resort now, which opens January 21, 2025, or the Universal Terra Luna Resort, which opens on February 25, 2025.
